How to sign the letter Z in ASL

Index finger extended straight out from a fist, drawing a Z path in the air.

Z is a motion letter. It cannot be held still, so the drill skips it and the reader watches for the stroke instead.

Easy to confuse. D and 1 hold the straight index finger still; Z adds the drawing motion.
