How to sign the letter E in ASL

All four fingers curled tightly down into the palm with the thumb tucked horizontally underneath the fingertips.

Easy to confuse. A keeps fingers in a solid fist with the thumb resting upright. O curves all fingers to touch the thumb tip in an open circle.

E is one of the six fisted letters - A, E, M, N, S, T - that differ only by where the thumb sits. You cannot check these on yourself, which is what the camera is for.
